Welttierschutzgesellschaft (WTG) e.V. is a non-profit association based in Berlin, Germany (e.V. stands for registered association). The association was founded in 1998 in Bonn, Germany. The organisation is based at Reinhardstraße 10, 10117 Berlin.

Our vision is a world in which animals are perceived by people and treated respectfully and in an animal-friendly way.

Through projects in developing and emerging countries, as well as political and public animal welfare campaigns in Germany, we aim to build the foundation required to achieve long-term improvements to living conditions of stray, farm and wild animals worldwide. For each of our projects, we chose a local partner organisation to work with, involve the local population and provide financial and technical expertise.
